Bowling Green State University
In the 1923 the Bowling Green State University founded, the BGSU Men's Glee Club began touring Ohio,
sang as far away as Chicago and Niagara Falls, and was doing very well until World
War II pulled most of its singers away. BGSU is passionate
about offering a nurturing atmosphere where values exploration, critical thinking and
character development flourish. The goal is to graduate culturally literate, self-assured,
technologically sophisticated, productive citizens who are prepared to lead, inspire and
preserve the great traditions of democracy.
Bowling Green State University was originally established as an institution for educators
and boasts today that it is the 14th largest producer of teachers in the United States,
it offers more than 200 undergraduate majors. In addition to its seven undergraduate
colleges, BGSU offers Master's and doctoral level programs as well. BGSU prides
itself on comfortable class sizes that allow a more personal education experience.
