Capella University is an exclusively online institution. Capella University is an accredited online university, offering grad degree programs in business, IT, education, human services and psychology. This was started to help people earn degrees while allowing them to continue working. The majority of Capella's students pursue doctoral and master degrees. Bachelor and associate degrees are also growing components in its programs. The school offers over 100 graduate and undergraduate degrees.

In a 2007 survey of Capella alumni, 98 percent of the respondents said they were satisfied with their course experience and 91 percent agreed that their Capella education provided them with knowledge and skills that increased their career or professional options.
