UMBC also provides busy working, non-traditional students with opportunities to pursue higher education via its Online Learning program. The programs offered by the university are flexible to make it easier for the professionally engaged students to study when they feel comfortable. This is possible because the university designs the online programs in a way so that students can complete it within a short time by accessing the coursework for 24 hours.

Qualifying students will have the opportunity to receive financial aid at UMBC, including scholarships, loans, grants and work study programs.
